Clean and Clear Water for the Tarahumaras

Altrusa International of Southern California is partnering with Machi-ko AC to bring safe drinking water to the indigenous peoples of the Sierra Tarahumara in Chihuahua, Mexico. The people in these 10 poor communities get blisters in their mouths and get sick from waterborne diseases. Their only options are to drink dirty water or unhealthy sodas and other sugary drinks.
